Stacey Winkler, M.A.

 

 

Stacey Winkler, a native of Westerville, received her Bachelor’s Degree in Hearing and Speech Sciences from Ohio University and her Master’s Degree in Audiology from the University of Pittsburgh, where she completed three years of research studies after receiving her degree.  Stacey is a certified member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed by the Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Prior to joining the Ohio Hearing Institute, Stacey worked in otolaryngology, otology, and private practice settings.

Stacey has enjoyed working with cochlear implant patients since 2003, when she began training under a Fellowship with Cochlear Americas, and has over ten years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss and tinnitus in adult and pediatric populations.  Stacey’s areas of special interest include improving her patient’s communication abilities through optimizing hearing aid fittings, cochlear implant programming, and bone anchored hearing aid (BAHA) fittings.  She is committed to taking the time needed to ensure that each individual receives the proper fit, education, and guidance as they navigate through their treatment.

Stacey currently resides in Westerville with her husband, two elementary school-aged daughters, a spunky Boxer, and two lazy cats.
